Heather has always had a natural connection with wood, from making her first go-cart, to carving a face, walking stick handle, coat hook or spoon. She likes to work with locally sourced timber from nearby woodlands. In addition, she also has a micro print works based around a collection of Adana printing table top presses and a few trays of old typefaces and printing blocks, Heather also runs our Lino Printing workshops.
Chris’s designs are unique, popular and quirky. Chris has created visual feasts from 9ft Knights to interior décor pieces. Chris also runs our popular Fantastical Birds and drawing workshops.
Sue is a freelance artist who works in a variety of media. Focusing on the local area, Sue creates detailed designs depicting nature and the surrounding area.
A unique upcycling artist who designs jewellery from Sea Pottery and broken and unloved china, “One Of A Kind” beautiful pieces handcrafted into pendants, brooches and key rings.
Megan Elizabeth is a freelance illustrator who likes to incorporate humour and woodland magic into her art working from her little pink studio by the sea, many of her pieces are inspired by people she has met from around the country as well as magical lands, nature, quotes and family life.
Throughout her years working as an artist and sourcing decorative objects and furnishings, Lauren has created a style which has gained a loyal following. Her love of animals is also apparent in many of her artworks and commissions. Much of her work has been exhibited throughout the UK and abroad.
Kirstin is a Fine Art graduate inspired by nature and landscapes, her use of colour and brush marks is bright and colourful. Kirstin’s range of cards depicts the local area a colourful, fun way.
Kelly is a local crafter who uses stamps, stencils and gems and makes cards for all occasions.
Julia is a Derbyshire based multi-media Artist. She draws her inspiration from her travels in the local scenery and further afield. Julia creates two-dimensional collages of her journeys, which are then photographed and transferred to a material to be used in the creation of Light shades, cushions, chair covers and pictures.
Jo, a self-taught artist is very talented and specialises in unique animal portraits & original artwork, with her love of nature and wildlife she creates exceptionally detailed original works of art. Jo is also a skilled felter who makes minute pet replica’s. Jo also runs our very popular felting workshops passing on the skills to make felted hare’s, bear’s, badgers, donkey’s, foxes etc.
Jackie is a professional Artist working in the Staffordshire Moorlands. who enjoys walking, painting and sketching the environment around the local area. Jackie makes a variety of products available with her prints that depict her beautiful landscapes.
Genesis Rowley is a Blacksmith based in Staffordshire. He creates a wide variety of work, with influences that range from Nordic, medieval culture through to delicate flowers and butterflies. As well as running workshops at Cabbage Rose, he also offers forge based workshops and creates bespoke products.
